As we continue to actively monitor the public health crisis arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, CoCo Philippines remains committed in supporting our communities more than ever. We stand with the community in their gratitude to our frontliners for their unending sacrifice and continuous efforts for us all.
As we do what we can to deal with the pandemic, our team members, their families, guests, and community remain our top priority. You may have already seen that we have had to temporarily downsize our operations, to safeguard the well-being of everyone.
Our team members remain properly compensated even during the Enhanced Community Quarantine. In addition to their HMO premiums and an advance of their 13th month pay, as well as sick and vacation leave benefits, we also extend premium pay to team members who are able to come to work to serve the community in the quarantined areas. Our goal is to keep them all safe and well, and get them back to work as soon as our stores can reopen.
CoCo Philippines has donated both financial and medical supplies to our medical frontliners, NGO volunteers, LGUs, and other organizations. We have also partnered with companies to aid our efforts in sending drinks to our healthcare workers to offer a little bit of comfort during this ordeal.
The magnitude of weathering the COVID-19 crisis needs the cooperation and compassion of humanity - to help one another, to give more to those with less. We acknowledge that, while we may not be able to match the sacrifices of the courageous frontliners, we can in our own capacity take actions, no matter how big or small, to make a positive impact.
We know that when we stand together, we can overcome this challenge soon.
